  1. Ooh, I like the "surrounded by leaves" option.

    One failing I often see is the lack of naturey magical items and related effects except in the context of adventures centered around druids, like they're ghettoized or something.

  2. Some of these feel very videogamey to me, but I like the idea of a sword that hums or chimes in the air and the scales/spikes thing is very cool, like it's an animal that's just clinging onto the hilt.

  3. I like the immense variety here -- it allows for a lot of picking and choosing (or re-rolling) as befits the setting.

  4. That’s a great chart. It can really make some distinctive weapons. I don't mind how it can seem a little videogamey, as a lot of the fairy tale descriptions of things can be even more over the top.
